BRIDGING JAPAN AND NEPAL

Rise
from zero.

Building a dependable path between Japan and Nepal.

Ryzera Ventures helps Japanese companies read the opportunity in Nepal, find partners worth trusting, secure the talent they need, invest with confidence, and build value that lasts.

WHO WE ARE

On the ground in Nepal. Working to Japanese standards.

Nepal holds real, unrealised potential in agriculture, renewable energy, tourism, digital services, manufacturing, and above all in people. Yet many Japanese companies find it difficult to identify a local partner they can rely on, or to read the operating environment from a distance.

Ryzera Ventures exists to close that gap. We combine an understanding of Japanese business culture with practical local knowledge, so that entry decisions are better informed and carry less risk.

Our aim is not to attract investment for its own sake. It is to build long-term relationships that create employment, transfer knowledge, strengthen local industry, and contribute to growth that holds.

WHY NEPAL, NOW

The case is already in the numbers.

Everything below comes from published sources, each with its date. We do not inflate figures. Where a number is small, we show it small.

WHAT WE DO

Six areas. Execution, not just advice.

Research alone is not the deliverable, and neither is an introduction. We stay through filings, hiring, launch and the operating years that follow.
  • 01

    Foreign Direct Investment

The investment decision, and every filing required to act on it.

    • Market entry strategy
    • Investment advisory
    • Company incorporation
    • Government liaison and permits
    • Partner identification and due diligence
  • 02

    Business Consulting

Gathering enough fact to decide on, then turning it into a plan that can be executed.

    • Market research
    • Business strategy
    • Feasibility studies (F/S)
    • Expansion planning
    • Project development and management
  • 03

    Human Resources

Nepal is already one of Japan's largest talent sources. We work with that reality rather than around it.

    • Executive and specialist search
    • Technical and IT recruitment
    • Japanese-speaking talent development and placement
    • Advisory on Specified Skilled Worker and the incoming Employment for Skill Development system
    • HR and labour-practice consulting
  • 04

    Technology & AI

Assembling local engineering capacity into something that can be run to Japanese quality standards.

    • AI strategy
    • Digital transformation
    • Software development and offshore delivery build-out
    • Process automation
    • IT consulting
  • 05

    Business Matching

An introduction is not the deliverable. We stay involved until the relationship stands on its own.

    • Japan–Nepal partner introductions
    • Joint venture formation
    • Distribution network build-out
    • Supplier sourcing and development
    • Strategic alliances
  • 06

    Startup & Innovation

Support from the point of view of the person starting at zero. That is where the name comes from.

    • Startup advisory
    • Incubation support
    • Venture building
    • Investment readiness
    • Innovation programme design

HOW WE WORK

Four phases, with durations and deliverables stated first.

We were incorporated in 2026. Rather than talk about a track record we do not yet have, we show you exactly how we work and what you receive.
  1. 01

    Scoping

    Indicative duration2–4 weeks

We establish the objective, the range of investment under consideration, and the time horizon. Desk research, a pre-F/S, gives an early, candid read on whether the opportunity merits further work. If our answer is that it does not, we say so and explain why.

  2. 02

    Feasibility

    Indicative duration6–12 weeks

We run the on-the-ground feasibility study: market size and characteristics, distribution realities, competitors, required permits, and the existence and standing of candidate partners, all verified locally. We also design and accompany site visits.

  3. 03

    Entry

    Indicative duration2–5 months

FITTA approval, Department of Industry or Investment Board Nepal filings, company registration, Nepal Rastra Bank registration, banking, tax registration and visas, run in parallel. Duration depends on sector and documentation readiness.

  4. 04

    Operate

    Indicative durationOngoing

Recruitment and development, support for local management, accounting and tax compliance, counterparty development, and regular reporting back to Japan, in Japanese, on the parent company's decision cycle.

MESSAGE

You should know who you would be working with.

The years I spent in Japan taught me the weight carried by two words: quality, and long-term. I want to bring that standard to Nepal.

FAQ

Questions we are asked most

  • Ryzera was registered with Nepal's Office of Company Registrar in 2026, and the engagements we can point to are still limited. So we would rather you assessed us on our disclosed registration details, the founder's background, and the clarity of what happens in each phase, than on the length of a client list. We will not present work we have not done.
